I think you misunderstood me, oh well. Sorry if I didn't explain myself.
I wasn't putting down 'British' english at all. I was just wondering
why they have ill feelings toward they way we talk or write. What do
they care? So don't read American literature, what's the big deal?
I agree that 'British' english is far older, and to me, that means it was
the original way to talk and write. However, if it is so much older and
it's the original translation, why is 'American' english more prominent?
Just some thoughts I had.
