Salut !
>Catlady & some others have also suggested that wizards live longer than
muggles. How do we know this?
Doesn't it say so somewhere in the books ? I can't think of any precise
example, but still...
>Tom Riddle Jr. says that his mother lived only long enough to name him --
so I assume her death had something to do with childbirth.
You *assumed* ?!?! Haven't you learned by now that we should NEVER assume
anything (even if I can't stop doing so <g>) ?
For all we know ... um, let me figure out something ... say, she (Tom's
mother) might have been on the run trying to escape from someone who
wanted to kill her, but she had to stop running to give birth to her
son, then she could have left him on a porch with a note ( reminds you
of something ? ), or maybe she gave him away to the first person she
met, and she fled again but she was found by her pursuer and he killed
her. I'm making all this up, of course, but couldn't it be this way ? So
*I* wouldn't assume she just died because of childbirth ( and, still,
maybe she did).
As for the red-heads : I seem to remember that Lily's hair was described
as "auburn" while the Weasleys' is "flaming-red". It's not quite the
same. Close but different. And if we went by hair-color, we might end up
with Lily and Petunia Malfoy, since both Dudley and Draco (and Petunia)
are blonde ! And *that* would be disgusting !!
And I can assure you that you are definitely NOT the only gullible one
! There are at least 2 of us !
A plus !
