No, we can't. Reading your post that such was possible, I immediately
rushed over to the Calendar page (and noticed that it had changed from
Eastern Time to GMT) and found NO "Options" button. So I read the Clubs
Help, which is actually pretty pathetic, but at least did state clearly
that the club's calendar is shown in the time zone chosen by a club
founder (you).
Anyway, now I am totally confused about how to convert the time
shown to Pacific Daylight Time. Is it possible to attach a text to a
calendar listing that lists the time in each of those zones that someone
(John???) carefully listed? I'm *really* confused about Neil saying that
they are on British Summer Time now -- I thought I had heard recently
that Britain gave up GMT and BST in order to shift over one hour in
order to be on EU time?
US Daylight Savings Time ends on Sunday morning of the last weekend of
October. A science fiction convention in Denver Colorado named MileHiCon
gave itself the nickname 'the con with an extra hour' because that was
their weekend every year -- until one year four of the five members of the
Con Com (convention committee: executive staff) all vanished on Saturday
evening to attend their various coven's Samhain Circles. MileHiCon
arranged to prevent such a mishap in the future by declaring that their
tradition had always been the fourth weekend of October, not the time
change weekend. I was irritated. I said their respective covens should
discipline them for running out on their responsibilities (even cowan
responsibilities) but no one listens to me.... Moaning Myrtle is the
character who most resembles me!
