<<Anyway, now I am totally confused about how to convert the time
shown to Pacific Daylight Time. Is it possible to attach a text to a
calendar listing that lists the time in each of those zones that someone
(John???) carefully listed?>>

First of all, I want to apologize to Catlady, and anyone else who was
confused (and subsequently frustrated) by my calendar post. Actually,
the calendar that can convert to your time zone is not the club's, but
your own Yahoo calender. Even if you've never set it up, having a Yahoo
ID makes it available to you (in the States at least; I'm not sure about
any of the international Yahoos).

Here are (I hope) clearer instructions for setting up your Yahoo Calendar:

1) Type "calendar.yahoo.com" into your web browser (note: do not include
www in this address) or click on the "Calendar" link (in the "Personal"
category) at www.yahoo.com. Since it is hard to find on the main Yahoo
page, I suggest trying calendar.yahoo.com first.

2) This should pull up the default view of the calendar. Click on the
"Options" link at the upper, right-hand corner of the page.

3) This will bring you to a list of ways to customize your calendar. To
set the time zone, click on the "Calendar Preferences" link. From there,
you can also tell it which hours to show, and whether to start up with
the daily, weekly, or monthly view. When you have it set to your time zone
(and any other preferences you choose), click on the "Save" button.

4) This will bring you back to the list of customizations. To put the
chats (and other club events) into your calendar, click on the "Time
Guides" link at the bottom of the right-hand column.

5) This will bring you to the Time Guides page. You will find us under the
"Clubs" category, at the top of the table. To have this club's events
show up on your calendar, check the Daily, Weekly and/or Monthly boxes
next to our name. You can also use this page to list holidays on your
calendar, or your favorite sports team's schedule. When you've added
everything you want on the calendar, click the "Save" button.

Next time you pull up your calendar, it will have the chats (and other
events) listed and all set up for your time zone.
