Ok... to anyone anywhere... if you are planning on getting the audio
version... get the Learning Library ones (that is the US edition, read
by Jim Dale).

I have the UK version of Philosopher's Stone, and the US version of
Chamber of Secrets - and COS is far the better version - Jim puts more
life in it than Stephen does, though I did think Stephen was good,
until I heard Dale.

I also prefer the CD versions. My tape version is not lasting well -
my car tape player almost mangled one of the tapes yesterday. The CD's
are better - don't suffer quite as much damage - and weigh less (imporant
if shipping transatlantic!).

Radio Plays - now that sounds like a great idea. Pity Warner Bros would
never allow it to happen - I'm sure they would find something which
would stop it.
