That is a good point.

However, I have to disagree with your statements that (1) Parvatis twin
could be a boy and (2) Moaning Myrtle could be a poltergeist. It is easy
to overlook but Book 1 does clearly state that the Sorting Hat sorts *a
pair of twin girls, Patil and Patil*. Also IMO the books make a pretty
clear distinction between ghosts and poltergeists, and I think it is
pretty clear that Myrtle is a ghost.
