>>>1.) This questions is for people who have copies of the Scholastic
version. I just noticed that my dustjacket for CoS does not say Year 2
on it. SS and PoA have years 1 and 3 respectively, but there is no year
2. I'm talking about dust jackets only. Is it just me? Did I get some
weird cursed version? <g><<<

My copy of CoS has "Year 2" on the dust jacket, but I bought it somewhere
around February, so it was most likely after the Scholastic ppl realized
their mistake and corrected it. You should hang on to your copy --
it might be a collector's item someday!

Incidentally, here's something I forgot to put on my list -- Did
anyone ever want a Teddy Ruxpin? (I did, but I never got one. *sniff*
The emotional scarring remains...) I did, however, get a Cabbage Patch
doll who had blonde hair and blue eyes, just like me (alas, now my hair
is a mousy brown...). I think her name was Dorothy Jane. Or maybe it
was Dorothy Ann. Something like that.

Sesame Street without Elmo? There was such a thing???

BTW, I wholeheartedly agree with whoever said Saturday morning cartoons
are awful. I remember the good old days when I used to rise at 7am to
watch Muppet Babies, then Superman, then Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,
then Looney Toons. *sigh* Those days are gone...although I must admit
the idea of a Harry Potter cartoon is intriguing, if it's well done.
