Ok, since I can't read posts, *I'll* post.

Although I enjoy fantasy (obviously, as I adore Harry!), I'm very picky
about it.

I've read the Terry Brooks _Magic Kingdon For Sale-Sold!_ series. I
liked the idea of buying a fantasy land. Of course after the 2nd book
Ben Holiday, former attorney from Chicago, has pretty much adjusted to
life surrounded by magic, but still a good read.

Also a favorite, _Songs from the Seashell Archives_ by Elizabeth
Scarborough. Total fantasy, but doesn't take itself too seriously. A
reference to "lion and tigers and bears" is in the first chapter. The
_Godmother_ series put magic in the "real" world, and recreates familiar
fairy tales in modern terms.

As for on-line book buying, I've never done it. Part of my enjoyment of
the book buying process is the bookstore itself, the seductive smell of
paper and ink, the wide shelves filled with books, wandering through the
aisles picking up books at random and leafing through them, deciding if
they're right for me, getting lost in one standing in the aisle... But,
who knows, I may venture into cybershopping for books in the future,
at least for books I *know* are good (ie Harry).
