"I was wondering as I read the book: if a person uses a time turner to
make double use of two hours a day, doesn't that mean that they're living
through one-twelfth more time per clock day / calendar year than normal,
and doesn't that mean that they age one more month than expected in a
year?? Maybe one month of extra age isn't enough to notice, but when I
thought that Hermione must be double-using maybe six hours a day (for
homework and study as well as attending lectures), I thought surely
people would notice that she was 'developing' faster than expected."
She is in that age where developement happens most quickly anyway, so I
doubt anything would have been noticed. People would have just thought
she was a quick developer. It does, however, explain why she was always
so hungry!
