Here again, it's my feeling that Ron and Hermione will be the ones with
the strong relationship. I have this little demon nagging at me that says
that the hero's sidekick never gets the glory. Ron sees himself at Head
Boy and Quidditch Captain in the Mirror of Erised -- he wants to stand
out at school and prove himself as good or better than his brothers. But
he finds himself instead as the best friend of the hero -- Harry, the
youngest Quidditch Player; Harry, the vanquisher of Voldemort; Harry,
who is singled out for special treatment by the wizarding world. Maybe
Ron will find happiness and solace with Hermione, while Harry walks his
lonely path through life (LOL! Getting carried away here now....).

Let's hope the green-eyed monster of jealousy never bites Ron, the way
it bit Peter Pettigrew.
