... I broke down and reserved a copy of the book at the Alabama
Bookstop. I had emailed Penny (thanks for your reply!!!) about events
in Houston and happened to be at the bookstore today. Once I read their
flyer I decided to go ahead and go there to pick up my book. Here is
what they have going on:

 "Join the staff here at "Hogwarts" as we play games, have giveaways
 and celebrate! Mad Science will be on hand to entertain and thrill us
 with dazzling feats of scientific wonder, which appear to be strikingly
 magical! Roseanne Rogers, KPRC-TV's Buzz Lady, will be here to cover
 all the excitement. The party starts at one minute before midnight,
 and we will countdown the last ten seconds. There will be free coffee
 for the adults and munchies for all. Stay up late, bring the kids, and
 be the first one on your block to read the new Harry Potter novel. Feel
 free to wear a costume!"

It sounds like they have a lot going on. I'm really surprised that the
Barnes and Noble on Post Oak isn't advertising what they are doing.

Just thought I'd let ya'll (Yes, I do say ya'll ;) know.
