Like Penny, I started pronouncing it "HER-mee-own," until someone
corrected me. I now pronounce it "her-MY-oh-knee" I suspect Hermione
has more than one correct pronounciation, like Bette (BETTY Davis or
BET Midler). Or Andrea (AN-dree-uh, AHN-dree-uh, ahn-DRAY-ah).

What I want to know, from the tapes, is how are Gryffindor and Slytherin
pronounced? Is the "Y" pronounced like a long or short "I"? I've always
pronounced both with the short "I", but I'm curious how the audios do.
