Given the Meyers-Briggs profiling, I would think that in a school of
Wizardtry that the Thinker/Perceiver group (Ravenclaw) would not be a
ruling group but it would be a good ally to have in any event.

Think about it.

Magic is something that you would have to spend lots of time by yourself
studying (I)(T). And best applied when you have a full assessment of
any situation (P). Although Ravenclaw is not Harry's Dorm, wouldn't you
think that these kids would be the most successful.

I think that that's why Ravenclaw gives Griffindor the most amount of
trouble and Slytherin gives Griffindor a surprisingly little amount
of trouble. (Given the profiling) Considering that this is a game of
strategy, planning would be made best by the team that thinks of a
strategy and can aNticipate the teams next move.

Notice you rarely see Hufflepuff in the finals.
