I agree. Making Robbie Coltrane look 10ft tall should be a doddle.
I know what Dee means about Martin Short as the Mad Hatter. I could
hardly believe what they did with his head in that Alice adaptation.
Incidentally, Robbie Coltrane was also in that film. He played one
of Tweedledum or Tweedledee, alongside George Wendt. He's a bit
taller than George, but not outlandishly high in stature.

The more I hear about this cast, the happier I feel. A Shakespearean
actor of Fiona Shaw's standing, playing a small part? Ian Hart is no
struggling bit part actor either. They must be falling over each
other to be in this film. The funny thing is, hardly any of the
actors (Rickman and Smith being the exceptions) have been suggested
by us, but they all seem just right for the parts.

I wish they'd announce who's playing Draco and Dudley and Filch and
the ghosts and the Gryffindor Quidditch team, and all the rest. I
want to see them all NOW!
