This is going to be one of the biggest british films in years in 
terms of world distribution and possibly money making.  It also has 
the possibility to be several films, if the first is as successful as 
hoped.

I'm not surprised they want to be in on it.  Plus, Harry Potter is 
the biggest British property released to the world in years.  It will 
already go down in history and no film has yet been made.  Of course, 
the first film COULD be a disaster and sink out of sight, but with 
talent like this, its still looking "cautiously hopeful."
