My impression also.  Harry definitely killed the basilisk.  I got the 
impression that he met Nagini is Bulgaria or whereever it was he was 
living after SS.

Interesting thought.  I like it.  I always wondered how the boa was 
going to get off the island of the UK and get to Brazil.  I pictured 
him stowing away on a transport ship or something (well, at least 
they wouldn't have rat problems on the ship.)

Maybe all snakes aren't bad.
