I have too, and I think that this has been discussed before, so I
wont belabor the point except to say that I tend to think that this
is an oversight on JKRs part. But another thing it brings to mind,
based on some of the recent discussions of Dumbledore, is that if 4
students could create something like the Marauders Map, which
recognizes a persons true identity and location, isnt it likely that
there is a spell that could do the same? Why doesnt Dumbly just use
this *True Identity* Spell from time to time, just to make sure
everyone at Hogwarts is really who they say they are. There seem to
be WAY too many imposters floating around the school grounds. Also,
how come Gred and Forge didnt notice (during HPs first year) when
they looked at the map that Quirrell was always accompanied by Thomas
M. Riddle. (Or maybe they did but since they didnt know who he was
they just figured that Quirrell had an enchanted mouse in his pocket).
