The Dark is Rising

They are very good books and I really enjoyed "The Dark Rising" which 
I read for a school reading lists a few years ago.  I don't remember 
the plot exactly but it is about a boy, (about Harry's age) and about 
magic...I know who you are talking about as a Dumbledore character 
but I can't remember his name....
