And the narration says that it is Quidditch of a level that Harry had
never seen before -- we see this is true, because it is not only so
fast that there's no time for commentary, but the score mounts by
goals to the level that 150 points for catching the Snitch is almost
meaningless.
But if Hogwarts is the only wizarding school for all the British
Isles (more or less equivalent to the political entities UK and
Ireland), all the members of the winning Irish National Team must
have gone to Hogwarts. I don't know how long a pro Quidditch career
can last, but surely old-timers like McGonagall would have remembered
them and mentioned them in the same breath as Charlie Weasley.
