The Sunday Times carried the story that JKR was going to publish a
companion book to the series about a year ago and also said that it
would come out at the same time as the first HP movie.I understood
that that was one of the reasons why her publishers stopped an
unofficial companion to the books being produced. The firm which will
be producing the HP video game have also said that JKR is giving them
access to her unpublished notes on the wizarding world. As this is my
first message after a period of lurking, hello to the group!

for the series when/after the movie...does anyone know whether this
is true? Because if she has boxfuls of notes, that's probably the
only way we'll actually see all of them, unless the last few books
are several volumes each.
