And more than a teensy bit like a dumb joke. I think someone was trying to
amuse himself ... I wonder whether the seller could take whoever it is to
court and bankrupt him for it.
BTW, after looking at that one, I got curious and wandered over to ebay for
a look at the HP bidding action--and got to watch a full set of signed
1st/1st Deluxe Editions go for $3,301. That's a heck of a lot of money for
something that isn't really even a first edition ...
Strange. I wonder what it feels like to own a signed, *real* 1st/1st. Are
there any such owners in our midst?? (Besides GoF!)
