Oh, darnit...I guess this is my own fault for not reading them before, but I
didn't know the above about Gollum yet - a couple of weeks ago, inspired by
the list, I finally finished The Hobbit after ten years in the attempt and
have now moved onto The Fellowship of the Ring...50 pages in and really
enjoying it...please tell me (without being specific *g*) that there's a lot
more to happen than just Gollum sacrificing himself for the good of others?
