Hurrah! There are certain experiences--like walking in the moonlight,
Hungarian cooking, your first kiss, or seeing the sun rise over the
Alps--that add that particular tinge to our qualia, make it a treat to be a
human. Reading Tolkein is one of those experiences.

That's a pretty tall order. But yes, you're right. There is a lot more to
happen, and Gollum is a very interesting character. (If you ask me, more
interesting than Frodo.) But I wouldn't expect Gollum to sacrifice himself
for the others, at least--but no, that'd spoil it. Just keep on reading.
