Harry is an interesting contrast to Tim Hunter in _The Books of
Magic_. Tim has seen a parallel universe's future where he does go
Dark, and keeps doing everything he can to try to avoid it - but he
keeps feeling forced into decisions that parallel the ones knows his
pre-dark self made in that alternative universe, and keeps fearing
even more so that his way will grow inevitably Dark despite his
efforts to avoid that.
