Forgive me if this has been discussed. I brought it up before, but either no
one commented, or I missed it.

In the end of GoF, Voldemorts wand extracted the following people: Diggory,
old man, Bertha Jorkins, the dad, then the mom. But the wand is supposed to
extract the 'spirits' of who Voldemort killed, backwords. This would mean he
killed his mom first, then went after the dad. But didn't he kill the dad
first, go after Harry, and his mom got in the middle, so he had to kill her
to get to Harry? Maybe I have this all wrong, but its bugging me.

I read the first 3 books to the family from the library, and have them on
order, thus we only own the last book right now, so I can't check out all the
facts. Thanks for the help!
