Faux Moody was never actually in the maze (at least, not the way I 
interpreted it). He said something like he was prowling along the 
outside using his magic eye to see through the hedges and send curses 
etc to eliminate Cedric, Fleur and Krum.

Does the 'see-through' eye give anyone else the heebie-jeebies, btw? 
After all we know that the eye can see through clothes. I think that 
Lavender/Parvati (can't remember which) is spot on when she says she 
thinks the eye is creepy. I agree with her!
