I'm new to this club, and I signed up to get the messages by
email,
here the lot of them are posted in one huge email. I have a couple of
replies for them, but I can't remember all of their topics, so,
bear
with me, if you're reading.

I believe that the color green is not only associated with jealousy,
but also with sickness. I remember one assignment in college (where I
study advertising) in which we were to redesign a logo for a clinic,
and green was automatically discarded because of its association with
illness, as well as the color yellow. This could be an explanation to
the green light of the death spell, Avada Kedavra, but not to Harry
and his mother's green eyes (which I agree to whoever posted this
and
said that JK Rowling probably thought green eyes and black hair was
really striking).

There's this other post that talks about why Voldemort
doesn't
destroy the legal records of him being known as Tom Riddle. I think
that since Voldemort isn't that old and some people still
remember
him when he was at Hogwarts, he's have to more than just destroy
evidence, but also erase a whole lot of people's memories.

Another post of Dumbledore being able to recruit people into
Hogwarts
I think that every kid who has demonstrated the
capability
to perform magic is allowed into the school. I mean, its not just
kids from wizarding families, but also `muggles'. If it were
up to
Dumbledore to reject kids from Hogwarts, then I don't think Draco
Malfoy would've been accepted, him or his cronies, whose families
had
been Death-Eaters.

Okay, now there is a piece of the puzzle in book 4 that troubles me.
If you all recall to chapter 36, page 696, 1st paragraph (hardcover),
Harry was talking about how Voldemort no longer felt pain when he
touched Harry's face. Right there, in the 2nd paragraph, it
says, "For a fleeting instant, Harry thought he saw a gleam of
somewhat like triumph in Dumbledore's eyes. But next second,
Harry
was sure he imagined it
" what is this supposed to mean? Are we
going
to find out in book 5, 6 or 7 that Dumbledore is actually evil??
