I am not a pro in the field, but I believe it's a common misconception that
abuse must be physical. The constant belittling, if taken to enough of an
extreme, would qualify. However, I also believe that part of being abused is
accepting it, and in my opinion Harry is not abused because within himself he
has not "bought" any of the brainwashing the Dursleys are attempting.
