By the way, did anyone notice in book 4 that just after Harry opened the gold egg for the first time, in the Gryffindor common room, Neville's reaction to the skreeky singing was that someone was being tortured with the Cruciatus Curse? I hadn't remembered that, found it the other day flipping through. Maybe he *did* witness the torture of his parents, and/or has had his memory supposedly benevolently altered. If so, I think Dumbledore's work-through-it as he used with Harry is a much better therapy, yes?
