My opinion on the "typo" would be that it isn't one! Scarcasm is a very hard thing to write in a story. It is all about inflection. How your voice sounds makes all the difference in the world. By saying that "she wasn't exactly hard to miss..." it is really saying that she was so huge that just stating that would have been an understatement. Harry is, personal opinion here, simply being scarcastic.
