learning french by reading the french version: does someone have a word list?

Hi,

in the end, I might just read it and compile a list of words which I 
didn't know (and it's not those HP words but things like "storm" 
or "owl" which are slightly over the basic vocabulary) with 
translations into German (or English?).
So if anyone opts to help with a chapter or two, your highly welcome.

by now I'm app. on page ten (let's wait whether or not I'll give up).
