I just have this gut feeling that Our Heroes, all three of them, will live
through all the books. People speculate a lot on Ron, but I read an
interview with Rowling (it was linked from The Leaky Cauldron website,
can't remember which one it was though) where she commented on how people
always beg her not to kill Ron and she says, "As if I'd kill Harry's best
friend." That could be just a bit of misdirection, but I think it'd be
entirely too cruel to say something like that and then go ahead and kill
him off anyway. And I agree that Hermione can probably hold her own pretty
well. I think they'll all make it. All bets are off on anyone
else...though it pains me to even consider that Hagrid, Sirius or Lupin
might die.
