Of course Harry hasn't done a single thing to help
the situation either. At the very least he could have
thanked Snape for saving his life, (Quidditch Match in
SS) and maybe even apologized for suspecting him. I
can't help feeling a little acknowledgement, however
grudging, of Snape's efforts on his behalf from Harry
might have defused some of his, (Snape's) resentment
and led to a slightly better relationship.
