Though I imagine that Lilly was capable of apparition, Voldemort is a 
very powerful wizard and is reported to have killed '...some of the 
best Wizards of the time' I assume that there are magical ways of 
preventing escape by apparition, or Voldemort's attacks would be 
unsucessful more often. We are also as yet unsure as to what 
limitations the Fidelius charm would have put on the house. It may 
have rendered the occupants unable to disapparate.
