I played out this theory on HPfGU-Movie, trying to reconcile the movie's approximately 20 first years per class with our book knowledge of only 10 or so per class. There's a more extended description over there. Faux Pas's system might be better thought out than mine, though. :) Because it *started* out as a system mapping to the movie, I'm not sure whether it would be appropriate to port that post over here. Admins? Wanna take a crack at whether that would be okay under the circumstances?
