Actually, I thought it was clear that Voldemort had no idea that his
wand shares a core with Harry's. Harry learned this about his own
wand before he arrived at Hogwarts. Voldemort undoubtedly has
figured this out by the end of GoF, however, unless he is completely
lacking in intellectual curiousity.
So does Voldemort know the source of the phoenix feather in his own
wand? Hard to say, but I'd guess not. Mr. Ollivander knows his
wands and likes to talk up prospective customers, but even he didn't
tell Harry that Fawkes was the source of the feather. Dumbledore
told this to Harry in GoF. Back when Voldemort bought the first
wand, Ollivander would have little reason to tell him that the
feather came from Fawkes. "BTW, Voldemort (can I call you Tom?),
your wand has a feather from a bird called Fawkes owned by a man
called Dumbledore, whom you haven't met yet" seems like strange
dialogue. This is particularly so if Dumbledore did not yet own
Fawkes when Voldemort bought his wand.
Maybe there is enough information for Voldemort to piece it all
together, though. He now knows his wand has the same core as
Harry's. Fawkes appeared in the Chamber due to Harry's loyalty, so
he knows Dumbledore ownes Fawkes. He ought to be able to work this
out, assuming it makes any difference.
