No, that was Cindy...I did read in an interview (sorry, don't have 
source info) that JKR was asked if there was anything in PS/SS 
she wished she could go back and  change. She said that at the 
time it was published, she thought boa constrictors were 
poisonous. So maybe she was indeed planning this plot 
development, but was run down by  the Reality Express.
