I think we've actually seen more movement on Snape's part, and more canon to 
back up that he's possibly not such a bad guy after all. Dumbledore trusts him,
 as does Hagrid. We've been given at least some insights into his motivation, 
and the dislike he had for James and his friends. I find myself wanting Snape 
to come around, whereas I tend to want Draco to get what's coming to him.
