About six hours after I had sent out my post on the location, I was looking
through the wonderful Lexicon for something else and found a splendid essay
on possible geographic locations of both Durmstrang and Beauxbatons. Does
Steve have an answer for almost everything or what?

Since mom comes from an area of Sweden very close to Lappland and I've seen
the snow there, that would be just as good of a location as anywhere else.

Sorry to rehash topics. I keep forgetting to search messages in my few
attempts at posting here. I'll just go back to lurking.
