No, Harry is the descendent of Godric Gryffindor, but not Slytherin. Harry's
destiny is to face the heir of Slytherin (Voldemort). Tom Riddle was waiting
for Harry, in my opinion, using Ginny for bait! He was "very interested" in
Harry! Godric Gryffindor gave the sword to Harry and Fawkes went to Harry's
rescue because Harry showed true loyalty to Dumbldore. Harry was able to get
into the chamber because he's a Parselmouth and was able to open up the
entrance (at the sink) by speaking to the image of the snake.

Harriet
