Shared classes (was Snape & DADA: hearsay, or a true slight?)

Hi,

Apart from sharing Herbology with Hufflepuff, it seems strange to me
that Harry's class shares so much class time with the Slytherins -
Potions, Quidditch, Care of Magical Creatures.

It is most likely that Dumbledore would have been the one making
this type of decision, so there is almost certainly a reason for it.
I started thinking down this track due to Elizabeth's comments about
the additional skills required of the Gryffindors.

Of the 4 houses, I think that Gryffindor and Ravenclaw are likely to
be most helpful in the upcoming confrontation with evil, based on
the idea that brains and courage are going to be more useful in this
instance than perseverance (why do Hobbits come to mind - oops) and
self interest.

Any thoughts?

Isabelle
