Humm, I must be a real pessimist, because I was teaming this "fan"
dying, with the other prediction that Harry would have to examine
daeth more closely and I came up with Hagrid dying. I mean, why
would either Colin or Dennis make Harry stop and think more about
death than Cedric already had? I mean he saw Cedric get toasted by
Wormtail, he had a little tete-a-tete with Cedric's shadow and then
dragged the dead body he felt responsible for all the way back to
Hogwarts with him and would not release it until Dumbledore prised it
from his hands.

So I posit that it should be someone that Harry is closer to and so
would feel an even deeper sense of loss, not just, guilt, about.
Hagrid is really one of the few outside of the trio that fits the
bill. Dumbledore might be on his way out too, with all of the "tired
and old" references, but that seems too easy and I don't think that
Dumbledore, though he likes and respects Harry, really fits as
a "fan." Anyway, just my 2 sickles (and a couple of knuts thrown in
for good measure.)

Rachel
