I just had a whole new idea! Suppose Tom Riddle, Jr, was NARCISSA's
father?

It appears that Lucius would like for Draco to make friends with
Harry (at least if Draco were faking the friendliness). Remember when
Harry overhears him in Knockturn Alley, he is telling Draco that at
this time it is not politic to appear less than fond of Harry Potter?
At least before the return of Voldemort, Lucius would appreciate a
Draco / Harry friendship as further propaganda of Malfoys being good
guys. At least after the return of Voldemort, Lucius would appreciate
a Draco / Harry friendship as a way to trap Harry and hand him over
to the Dark Lord. Maybe Lucius would also appreciate a Draco / Harry
friendship in hope of seducing Harry to join the Dark Side and use
his fame to make speeches against Muggles and Muggle-borns, perhaps
assisting the Death Eaters to gain power by winning elections instead
of assassinations and coup.
I don't actually know whether Vincent and Gregory's first loyalty
would be to the Dark Lord, their fathers, and Lucius, or if it would
be to Draco. Since going away to boarding school, they have a lot
more practise, more recent practise, at obeying Draco. Draco would
have to sound them out to find which side they would be on.

Long long ago, when this list was still on yahooclubs(!), there was
speculation that the brown haired bloke in trousers carrying a book
was Nicholas Flame. One of our members went so far as to Telephone
Bloomsburys to Ask Them. Their answer was that the original depicted
just a random wizard, and they changed it to Dumbledore because of
widespread public confusion about who was it supposed to be.

Ouch! What happened to your spine?

If yes, why was Snape's Mark visible to be shown to Fudge? If no, why
didn't Sirius know what was up with Karkaroff showing Snape his arm?
