Hi --

Well, you didn't really expect me to keep quiet for too terribly long
now, did you? <g>

Apparently another source has a slightly different iteration of the same
quotes from the source that Mike gave us -- this one says: "And Harry
will develop more of an interest in Hermione too, one of his best
friends."

Mike knows full well what I think, but yes, for the record, I *do* see a
love triangle developing (though I'd be quite surprised if the romantic
interest flowed from Harry to Hermione rather than from Hermione to Harry).

Of course, alot of the pre-GoF interviews & quotes ended up being at
least slightly misleading. But, all the same, I'll be anxious to hear
if this statement can actually be attributed to JKR & whether it was
taken out of context or not. I guess we'll know more after this BBC
special on Friday, right? That appears to be the source for these
articles.

It does sound (from both these sources) as though she's currently
planning to do an epilogue that at least outlines what happens to the
"survivors" post-book 7. It will be very interesting to see if she
sticks with that resolution. I would think it might be at least
slightly tempting to leave her options open & not reveal where she sees
things going on the off-chance that she decides to write further
post-book 7 works at a later date. As a fanfic consumer, I'd probably
prefer no epilogue I suppose.

Penny
