Lotus asked about the Wand Error, and why we care and aren't willing to say "it's just magic".

Initially, a lot of posts on this list argued for one magical solution or another - that Harry's inherent powers altered the order, that riddle lied, all sorts of things you'll see if you look in posts from july and august 2000.

Since november, 2000 when the edited version came out, we learned that our guesses at magic were all wrong. The wand order was instead completely logical.
