I have just been enjoying reading the books again, even though
everybody has been making fun of me (oh well) but something strange
hit me today while I was rereading CoS... how does Mr. Ollivander
know that both Harry and L.V.'s wands are brothers. I know that in
CoS Dumbledore and Harry talk about what happened to him in the
Chamber w/ Tom Riddle, and Dumbledore does state, "Very few people
know that LV was once called TR" (CoS page 329 hardback US edition)
I guess I'm just trying to find out who knew and if Dumbledore knows
that then, why doesn't he bring it up that if the two wands were to
meet (which they do in GoF) what would happen and how does Ollivander
know about the two wands, I began to think, while reading CoS again
if when LV went after baby Harry he left behind the wand, but then how
could he have had it when he goes after Harry in GoF. I guess since
I have read and reread and reread these books over and over again,
I'm now looking really close for clues, probably since I can NOT wait
for the new book. Hey JKR, we're waiting.

On another note....for those of you who haven't read today's USA
Today's Life section... there's a itty bitty bit on HP and JKR
reveling HP's future. It states, JKR says there will be love and
death. OoP is due out in 2002 (like we didn't know that) and she
states "More people are going to die. And there's at least one death
that's going to be horrible to write." (direct quote from USA Today)

And yes, (according to USA Today) photos from HP2 were stolen from
Leavesden Studios and WB is asking the press not to print them. (I
know that this is movie related, but it was all in the same bit)

If anybody has any ideas about how Ollivander knew or if any has any
guesses, I would love to know.... :)

Talk to you later.
