I agree !! There's no reason why he can't continue having adventures
after leaving school. After all, that's where life really begins!!

(I hope JKR's reading this ...)

I would agree that this idea has a lot of potential.

I don't know any if of you (outside of the UK) have heard of "Dr.
Who"? It's about the adventures of a time-traveller, whose appearance
can change due to near-death experiences. It started off as a BBC
children's series but "faded away" from TV in the 80's. Todays fans
are mainly adults who were children when the series was popular
(myself included) - and of course everyone has their favourite Doctor
Who.

The relevance to HP is that some of these fans are now authors, and
have written continuations of the story with the 7th and 8th doctor,
and also a number of "Missing Adventures" with the 1st to 6th Doctors.

They are IMHO often better than the originals because they're written
for adults.

So, HP *could* continue even without JKR :-)

"Missing Adventures" *could* be written, although admittedly Harry
doesn't have much time in between the existing books, as JKR has his
whole life planned out...

But at least there's some hope !!!

Regards,

Timerider
