Symbols on list

Hi, just some thoughts about those symbols....

I was thinking:
boxed N's = Muggle born;
stars = wizard-family born;
circled stars = DE connection (either in the family,
or, what the student will grow up to be)

What do you all think?  I noticed 3 of 4 Slytherins
have the circled stars, (and we know Crabbe & Goyle
have DE for parents.)   There are two Gryffindors
--Lavender and Seamus.  Can anyone point me to
information on their families?  (I know Seamus has a
witch mom and Muggle dad; is the dad still with the
family?  An abandonment might turn Seamus or his mom
to the DE's....)

It would be interesting if some Gryffindors turned bad
(choices counting more than abilities, and all that!)
