I have to agree...why else would Voldy think he had to kill Harry
when he was just a baby? Strictly IMHO...back when he went to
Godric's Hollow to kill the Potters, one of the reasons he did it was
because he had a vision of the future in which Harry would ultimately
destroy him unless he (Voldy) got rid of Harry first. So far Voldy
has tried four times (counting Tom Riddle)amd Harry was triumphed
each time even without the vast knowledge and power that Voldy has.
Indeed Harry wins by instinct, without really knowing what he is
doing. Yeah, a lot of that is luck...but his own goodness, and the
legacy of goodness from his parents, make for some strong magic.

Speaking of strong magic, someone mentioned on a recent post, the
part in GoF with Dumbledore's reaction to Harry's blood being in the
new and *improved* Voldy. I was also taken back at first upon reading
that (wondered about Dumbledore!) but then thought---maybe using
Harry's blood is what will make Voldy more mortal and thus more
vulnerable---and Harry will actually be able to defeat him even
better. (If this has been discussed before, sorry!)

Anyway, from Dumbledore's reaction this could be ancient magic that
Dumbledore is aware of even if Voldy himself is not. We've seen how
Voldy doesn't know everything. Harry continues to surprise him.
(dontcha love the Priori Incantatem chapter!)
