JKR writes so well that at times we don't even know whose good and whose
bad. Thank you,Amanda I'm still learning more about this world of Harry
Potter. I've read the first two books to my boys as part of our family
reading time. We are on the third book. I already read all four books. This

Are you implying that Lupin knew the truth about Sirius during the scene
with Harry, when he asked if Harry heard James? Because that's not the
case, that's clear from the text. Lupin didn't get the details straight
until the confrontation in the Shrieking Shack.
